This was an interesting story of a baby, “Bod” whose family was murder in the begging of the book. Anyway, Bod escapes from his crib and being killed and runs off to hide in a graveyard where he is raised by the ghost there. Bod grows up learning about the natural and supernatural alike. He learns about his limitation, and what he can do, and works on the skill he needs to survive in the world. He knows more about being dead than being human. The people who killed his family are still out there trying to find him. He eventually beats the Jacks (murderer) and leaves the graveyard to pursue his life as a human being.
